Privacy Policy
Draft privacy terms for how Donation Fever handles platform data.
This page is draft public site copy for transparency and should be reviewed by legal counsel before being treated as final legal terms.
Draft notice
This Privacy Policy is published to improve clarity around the platform's intended data practices. It should be finalized only after legal review.
1. Information Donation Fever collects
Donation Fever may collect information you provide directly, such as account details, campaign content, fundraiser descriptions, progress updates, uploaded media, sponsor information, and messages sent through platform forms.
The platform may also collect technical information such as browser type, device details, referral pages, approximate location inferred from IP address, and usage information needed to secure, operate, debug, and improve the service.
2. How Donation Fever uses information
Donation Fever may use information to operate campaign pages, authenticate users, respond to support requests, improve the platform, prevent abuse, investigate issues, communicate product or policy updates, and maintain platform security and reliability.
Donation Fever may also use campaign content and public fundraiser details to display public campaign pages, previews, sponsor placements, and other platform experiences that support the service.
3. Third-party services and payments
Donation Fever v1 does not process campaign donations directly. When supporters click a donation option, they leave Donation Fever and complete the transaction through the organizer's selected third-party payment provider.
Those third-party providers operate under their own privacy policies and terms. Donation Fever is not responsible for the data-handling practices of third-party payment pages, hosting services, analytics providers, or external links that users choose to visit from the platform.
5. Retention and security
Donation Fever aims to use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the platform's size and stage, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce platform rules, and maintain business records.
6. Your choices
You may be able to update certain account or campaign information through the platform. You can also stop using the platform at any time, although some information may remain in backups, logs, legal records, or archived business systems where retention is reasonably required.
If you have privacy-related questions or requests, contact the platform operator through the support channels published on the site.
7. Changes to this privacy policy
Donation Fever may revise this page as the product, integrations, analytics, support processes, and legal documentation evolve. When the page is updated, the published effective date should also be updated.
